Why conduct a systems health check?

The purpose of the health check is to understand the current state of the existing equipment to determine if any investment is advised and the suitability in continuing to use some (or all) of the equipment for the long term.

Report

Our in-person health checks safeguard your systems to ensure they are running smoothly, and all the necessary components are in place and functioning properly ahead of peak periods.

This includes making sure your systems are all up to date and supported, so all of the physical hardware, associated controls, and network connections are all working correctly.

Additionally, we can assess the system to make sure that it is performing as expected and any errors or issues are identified and so can be addressed.

Refurbish

The result of the report may be that the best advise is to undertake some refurbishment of key components and ensure they function appropriately. Some discreet spare parts may be all that is required to return the system to optimal performance.

Re-Purpose

It may be the case that you have some equipment which was originally part of a different setup, is perfectly serviceable and if only you could make it fit your new requirements would help in making things more efficient for you. This is where you might consider re-purposing and configuring for a new scenario.

What’s included in a health check?

Breathe’s engineers will:

• Initially undertake a visual and audible inspection and assessment
• Observe the equipment general condition, noting any excessive wear and tear, noise or movement together with any broken or missing parts
• Note any, drips spillages, excessive heat, debris from ether goods handled or parts of the system
• Check for alignment of belts, rollers and other essential parts
• Observe and record (using photographs), the installed equipment and general condition of any supplementary equipment

You will be issued with a comprehensive report – detailing any recommendations for further improvements and feedback on equipment condition
