Pets at Home Discuss 2-Phase Automation Project
In the summer of this year Pets at Home, the UK’s largest retailer of pets supplies signed a deal with us to implement a £2.5million automation project. We recently attended the Internet Retailing Conference with Simon Hayward, Senior Project Manager at Pets at Home, where he spoke exclusively with eDelivery Editor, Liz Morrell about the need for automation in their warehouses:
“We’re trying to reduce the cost of delivery and the distribution cost and to maintain that stability of colleagues within the operation as well as keep and sustain our throughput,” he said.
