‘Highly Commended’ at Insider Awards
The team at Conveyor Networks were delighted to receive highly commended recognition at Insider’s 2019 Made in North West Awards on Thursday.
The opportunity to showcase our collaboration with Pets at Home on the automation of its picking and packing processes and celebrate the project’s success, alongside the region’s top businesses in the manufacturing sector was a proud moment for our business.
The pets care industry is a highly competitive and rapidly changing market that covers a wide range of products. With increasing humanisation of pets and evolving needs of customers, the industry landscape is unsteady, which is driving competitors to disrupt their business models.
By working collaboratively, Pets at Home and Conveyor Networks have been able to implement a solution that is unique to the pets’ pharma industry. This innovative technology offers a significant commercial advantage, enabling Pets at Home to realise its enviable growth ambitions, while allowing them to circumnavigate the traditional issues of extra resource required to facilitate such growth – especially at peak times.
I’m really proud to see that the efforts of our relatively modest team being recognised at the awards ceremony. They really deserve it and their commitment is really humbling. Thanks also to the team at Pets at Home, without them we wouldn’t be showcasing our talent.
